Michael Lohan can pretend that he's talking to the press to "help"
Lindsay Lohan, but we all know he's just doing it for fame and the money.
According to reports, Michael demanded over $100,000 for the audiotapes of Lindsay and her mother
Dina Lohan sobbing to him in various voice mails.
New York Post's Page Six reports Michael demanded $100K for the tapes, and when he couldn't get that much for them, he eventually released them for free to RadarOnline.com, but was paid for a subsequent interview.
A source tells the publication, "Michael initially asked for a large fee - six figures - for the tapes of Lindsay and Dina, but he didn't get any takers.
"Radar Online also refused to pay for the tapes, so in the end he agreed to a deal to release the recordings for no fee, but giving him the exposure he needs with a paid interview."
Someone give this guy a trophy for Father of the Year. No wonder Lindsay is such a mess. She doesn't just need a trip to rehab, she needs new parents.
