Opportunity is knocking at your door, Lindsay Lohan. And for once it isn't a horny international entrepreneur, a porn magazine, or your mom in a pimp hat carrying a challis and a cane.
It's a real movie! A TV movie, but still!
Reports surfaced that Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan were competing for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime biopic, Liz and Dick. Those reports probably surfaced because the executive producer said:
"I’ve been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox.”
Well, as it turns out, it's news to Megan. A source close to her tells site Gossip Cop that the actress "isn't involved" in the project. If you have even a basic understanding of the inner workings of Hollywood, you know that this is how it went down:
PRODUCER: We want you in a movie about Elizabeth Taylor.
MEGAN: OMG Yes! Yes Yes Yes!!!!
PRODUCER: A made for TV movie about Elizabeth Taylor.
While Megan is out of the picture, Lohan might still have some problems nabbing the role. A source told E!:
“Lohan is still one of the frontrunners for the role, [but] her probation status is ‘a complication.’”
Well, last time Lindsay headed to court, which was earlier this week, she got good reviews from the judge. And we haven't seen "Lindsay Lohan" and "good reviews" in the same sentence in a long time. Either way, producers say, "it's a very serious selection. It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."
