Lohan WILL Do Jail Time - Lindsay Lohan

Looks like Lohan's going to be taking a page out of Paris' book. We're almost certain that Lohan is going to get the book thrown at her when she makes an appearance in court for her DUI arrest.

Hollyscoop contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and they told us that unless Lohan has a super attorney that can work miracles, SHE WILL FACE JAIL TIME. Here's some more info we gathered on DUI offenses.

Penalty: 1st Offense - 96 hours ( at least 48 of which shall be continuous) - 6 months county jail, fine, 6 months license suspension, probation, treatment program; 2nd Offense - 96 hours to 1 year county jail, fine, 24 months license suspension, probation, treatment program.

California has a DUI / DWI washout period of 10 years, calculated from arrest date to arrest date. This means that anyone arrested for drunk or drug driving within 10 years of the last arrest date will be charged with a second offense, with increased penalties and punishment. The punishment in court for a second or third drunk driving conviction is much harsher than for a first offense – a multiple-offense drunk driving conviction carries mandatory jail time, an 18-month alcohol education program, a required ignition interlock device, and more.

Lindsay is in such deep, deep, deep trouble(s) on practically EVERYTHING which is illegal...drugs, DUI,driving with suspended license, and on & on & on it continues to "mount up" !!! The worst thing is that this latest rehab at Promises is more like MOST OF US NORMAL PEOPLE would pay "big bucks" to go to as a "Vacation Resort"....special treatment and privileges in every single area. These rehabs (IE: PROMISES and the others) offer special "star privileges" and activities. The variety of activities can "range" to different things. But many have special chefs to cook whatever the resident (mainly the "stars")...these rehabs allow their clientele to go for long walks, hikes, bike riding, roller blading, swimming, tennis courts, personal trainers to work out with the star(s) residents! The rehab resident m-a-y have to attend one or possibly two group meetings and / or DAILY AA meetings. They ("star residents") are assigned "sober companions" and that type of thing. And then the sober companions whom are being paid sometimes $2,000.00 or more daily to keep the resident(s) on the "straight and narrow" and yet the companion turns a blind eye when the pampered stars have a drink or two or three, etc!?! Lindsay needs to be at a place like Betty Ford...where there are no special exceptions !!! Each resident is expected to make their own bed, do daily chores, share a room with 2 or 3 other "roomies". The residents are treated "equally" ...these "stars" are so accustomed to being denied absolutely NOTHING. No one ever dares says "no" to a "celebrity" ! The celebs are not out on a "pass" to go shopping or have lunch out with any visitor who may come to see them! Lindsay and other (like Nicole Richie, Paris, and many others) walk around like they are "God's Gift"...no one dare "cross them" or say no or deny them anything ! They seem to think they are "gods"! (ie: LIKE Lindsay would probably say: "I'm Lindsay Lohan"!!!...how dare any one not treat her like demi-god! I do feel sorry for Linds though cause her family (from the "get go" is the most dysfunctional family I have ever seen. Dad (Michael) has been in and out of jail many times (drinking and drugs)...he had a cocaine addiction as well as other addictions PLUS he "frauded" people out of their money and so forth the entire time Linds was growing up. And her mom (Dina) is a sad, sad, sad excuse for a parent. Dina is Lindsay's mom, manager, best friend and party pal ! Lindsay needs a mom. Not a best friend to go partying, drinking and drugging with! Lindsay unfortunately was born into a family where both parents have STRONG addictive personalities. Linds inherited that from the womb ! Lindsay is responsible for her own actions and such....but, at the same time, Linds inherited a lot of the genetic "make-up" of parents with addictive personalities. I pray Linds will be able to overcome these things...but I think she is more likely going to end up in jail long term and/or dead from an OD!

I was reading that all the charges combined could get her a maximum of five years in jail so I agree that she should do at least a year. Even 6 months would probably help to straighten her out. I hope she gets the right help.

take her and lock her up right alone with Nicole Richie. They both think it is okay to drink and drive and that they will not be punished. How many times have they both been busted with drugs and drinking...too many. Lock them up and save the lives of their potential victims.

The best thing for her heath would be to be sentenced to a full year in jail. I know that this sucks but its needed in order for her to have a shot at getting better. She should leave the temptation of hollywood altogether. Then agian, maybe they wouldnt take her back but im sure they would.

I hope she gets the book thrown at her, she's obviously not learning shit from rehab. Maybe a year in jail will straighten her out,.
