made her court appearance yesterday and although the judge didn’t send her to jail, he ordered her back to rehab until January. That sounds great for Lindsay, but the only problem is she can’t afford it.
In Lindsay’s probation report it states that Lilo can’t afford to pay for the treatment program.
"She indicates she can not afford to continue to pay for the treatment program and she needs to work," says the report.
Lindsay originally wanted to enter an outpatient center and asked the judge but Judge Elden Fox declined and ordered her to remain there until January 3.
"[Lohan says] her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," the probation report states.
A 90-day stay at the rehab costs $53,000. That’s how much she would probably spend on buying blow so it doesn’t sound too bad.
One of Lilo’s docs from UCLA feel like Lindsay was in denial about her addiction and staying at Betty Ford will be for her benefit.
"There was some denial regarding her drug addiction. [She] needs to continue to work on her issues in order to save her life," the report says.
Gary Richman, a counselor who also worked with Lohan feels that she needs to be in rehab much longer.
Richman believes "she has a lot of growing up to do," the report says. "[She] finally began to talk about feeling powerless and about being an addict ... She must make several changes in her life in order to succeed, especially coming from a family of dysfunction."
These professionals clearly know what Lindsay needs to do to get clean and they are just trying to help her. Let her mother and father who figure out a way to pay for the rehab. They’ve been mooching off her long enough.
