Lindsay Lohan is hoping that talking to the press and television shows about her breakup is going to get
Samantha Ronson back in her life, she's in for a surprise.
Now that she's talked to almost every major tabloid, she's moving on to television. Lindsay sat down with
Ellen Degeneres for her daytime talk show to talk about, you guessed it, her public fallout with Sam.
When asked what the most difficult part of the breakup was, Lindsay said, "When you don't know you're breaking up...Really weird."
Lindsay claims to have been in the dark about the breakup and insists that Sam basically just disappeared on her. "I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared," Lohan says.
Speaking of disappearing, Ellen told Lindsay that after her very public breakup with Anne Heche back in 2000, "I kind of lost my career for a little while and I went away ... and I literally hibernated and got myself back together." She asked Lohan if she wanted to run away too, or at least take some time off.
"I feel like I want to get my career back in shape," she said, adding that being away from Ronson and not dating anybody right now may be a positive step.
Lindsay also added that the breakup "came out of nowhere," but she's still hoping it isn't permanent. "I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens," she says. "Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."
We weren't in that relationship and we saw this breakup coming from a mile away. When police have to be called to your house to break up arguments, you know you have some serious relationship problems to work through.
Sounds like Samantha literally just got tired of all the drama. We're hoping Lindsay will reconsider getting out of the spotlight for a little bit and comes back better than ever.
