Lindsay Lohan hasn't had much luck in the acting department lately, she claims she's ready to turn her back on the career that made her famous and focus her attention on modeling. Not a bad idea!
She tells Nylon magazine, "I love doing photo shoots. I mean, if I could just sign with IMG (modeling agency) and do ad campaigns and model more, I'd do that . . . because that's fun for me. That's not work."
And it seems like Lohan's wish may be coming true after all. IMG boss Ivan Bart is keen to give the star a chance.
He tells Page Six, "She's a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion. Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting."
Meanwhile, the New York Daily News is reporting that Lohan's cash crisis has deepened due to her excessive spending. She's been borrowing money from her girlfriend
Samantha Ronson to support her lifestyle.
A source tells the publication, "Lindsay is spending like crazy! She’s living on credit right now. She has no cash.
"The problem is, the money being spent is mostly Sam’s because Lindsay doesn’t really have any of her own at the moment. Sam really thinks Lindsay needs to learn how to become a recessionista and manage her money better."
While another insider adds, "Lindsay’s money situation has never been great, but it’s only gotten worse over the last month. For every dollar she makes, she spends double."
Sam should happily be forking over cash to Lindsay. She's more than doubled (if not tripled) her DJing price because event organizers know Lindsay will show up with her.
Lindsay should really consider going into modeling full time, she has a really unique face and photographs really well. It's high time she give acting a rest! What do you guys think?
