Lindsay Lohan’s life may be a total disaster right now, but it makes for a great movie!
Screenwriter Charles Casillo tells the New York Daily News he’s made a movie based on Lilo’s ridiculous life, and he’s already cast his leading lady….sorry Linds, it aint you.
According to the report, model/heiress Lydia Hearst will take on Lindsay in the movie called Dogs in Pocketbooks. Casillo says, "Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media -- a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan.
"I spent a lot of time casting for the right actress for this screwball comedy, but Lydia is perfect. She's one of the few supermodels who can actually act. She's smart, well-read, charming and very beautiful. We looked at a lot of actresses for this role, and I was really knocked out."
But Casillo doesn’t want Dina Lohan going all apeshit on him like she did with Gwyneth Paltrow after the Glee incident—he says it’s all in good fun.
"[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It's more of a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate. It satirizes the obsession with modern celebrity."
Somehow, I don’t see Linds laughing over this one. She’ll probably be more pissed that she isn’t playing herself though!
