Lindsay Lohan is just days away from putting her troubles behind her. If she doesn’t screw up within the next 48 hours, she’ll be off probation for the first time in more than 4 years. Let’s hope she keeps her nose clean...
Sources tell TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney is satisfied that Lohan has completed the terms of her probation, and as a result, they’ll have no objection when Judge Stephanie Sautner rules to terminate her probation stemming from her Beverly Hills DUI case.
The Probation report reads in part, "The probationer (Lindsay) is in compliance with the terms and conditions of probation."
But what about that time she stole that necklace? TMZ reports:
“The L.A. City Attorney sees no reason why Lindsay's formal probation -- requiring her to regularly report to her probation officer and the judge -- will be changed to informal probation, meaning as long as Lindsay keeps her nose clean she is off the hook for misdemeanor theft.”
Two days. Are we putting money on this?
Lindsay is due back in court on Thursday. And remember that little hit-and-run incident? It’s currently under investigation by the police department, but the Probation Department will not recommend that it should be considered a violation of her probation.
Lindsay is supposed to complete her last day of counseling today, and as long as she finishes her scheduled community service tomorrow, she’ll have met all the requirements of her probation.
