Lindsay Lohan is on the comeback train, and last night it made a stop at ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.’ Lindsay is set to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ sometime this weekend. I think it might be on Saturday.
She told Fallon, who is a ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum himself, how her hosting duties went down:
“I actually was calling Lorne. I kept asking him and, not harassing him, but not giving up,” Lohan told Jimmy.
Then she put Fallon on the spot: “Will you stop by the show?”
“Sure…” he responded, not sure if she meant to watch or as a cameo.
“You want me to come on your show?” Fallon asked. “I’ll do anything for you, if you want me to do it. But what am I going to do?”
“I don’t know, just stop by and I’m sure you guys will figure it out,” Lindsay joked.
And call me crazy, but Lindsay was just charming in this interview. Puffy, yes. But charming nonetheless.
Jimmy then asked Lindsay about her upcoming Elizabeth Taylor role.
“It starts with me with her in ‘Cleopatra’,” Lindsay said, and then added that it mostly focuses on Taylor’s relationship with Richard Burton.
When asked what the title of the movie was, Lindsay bashfully stated:
“’Liz and Dick.’”
And the audience giggled because, no matter how old you are, the word ‘dick’ is always funny.
“I have two predictions,” Fallon told Lohan. “They’re gonna change the title to just ‘Liz’. And two, you’re gonna get an Emmy for this. “
