Lindsay Lohan made a rare surprise appearance last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
The biggest surprise? Her getting a standing ovation.
She talked to Jay about her shocking jail sentence claiming it left her “kind of numb.”
"At what point did you realize, 'Oh my God, I could lose this, this could slip away from me?'" Jay Leno asked Lohan.
"I think that when, you know, being young and being in the position I was in, you don't really take the time to appreciate what you have and it's all kind of a whirlwind, and people make decisions for you," she replied.
"But I'm not a kid anymore--I'm 24. I've made a lot of mistakes and I recognize that. I'm in the clear now, and as long as I stay focused, I can achieve what I want to achieve."
She told Jay that despite her jail sentence she’s still employed. And no, she wasn’t talking about her new gig at the morgue. The execs in the upcoming Gotti movie still want her attached to the project.
By asking Lindsay to be in their movie, they’re automatically asking for a flop, but hey, at least it’ll help her pay off her legal debt.
The pre-taped episode of Lindsay airs on Tuesday. Tune in. Lindsay needs the ratings. Check out the preview below...
