Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail!
Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 90 days in jail as a result of her 2007 DUI arrest, and violation of probation.

She was sentenced by judge Marsha Revel on three separate charges, for 30 days each, equaling 90 days total behind bars.

Lindsay Hit With New Lawsuit While in Court

Lindsay is forced to keep her SCRAM bracelet on until she surrenders herself to the court to begin her sentence. The judge asked that she surrender herself immediately. But Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley requested she have two weeks time to prepare herself.

The judge then allowed her to come back to court at 8:30am July 20th to surrender herself to the court to begin her sentence.

And that's not all! After Lindsay completes her jail time, she will have to go straight to a 90-day in-patient rehab program.

Prior to learning her fate, Lindsay pleaded her case to the judge. "I just wanted to take a minute to say that, as far as I knew, I was being in compliance with my programs," she started. "When I asked to leave town, [the alcohol ed program] would give me permission to leave town."

"I wasn't expecting any special treatment aside from the understanding that I have to provide for myself, I have to work. My schedule is, unfortunately, very different," she continued. "Having said that, I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up."

"I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life, it's my career," she said. "I've learned from my experiences, I take responsibility for my actions, I've tried to do the best I can."

She had some good excuses, and the water works could have worked, but unfortunately for Lindsay, the judge wasn't having it!

Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore says Lindsay will be "kept away from the general jail population for the safety of everyone involved."

Chances are Lindsay won’t serve the full 90 days in jail. Female, non-violent inmates usually serve 25% less of their sentence. She can also get her sentence reduced based on good behavior. She'll serve her time at the Century regional facility in Lynwood, which is where Paris Hilton also served time.

This could have gone either way, but we're glad the judge didn't give her any special treatment! Hollywood clubs are Lindsay-free for a while!
