Well that didn’t take long. Lindsay Lohan has leaked, my friends. And no, I’m not talking about alcohol oozing out of her veins. I’m referring to those soon-to-be legendary photos she took for Playboy. All ten of the photos from her shoot have leaked online, and in them, she wears a pair of YSL shoes, and nothing else. Well, maybe some lipstick too.
The photos hit the web on Thursday, and Lohan manages to channel vintage Hollywood glamour in the shoot. Love her or hate her, you can’t deny that the woman cleaned up her act for this project. Might I even suggest this is comeback worthy?
Dudes everywhere will be happy about these leaks, but Playboy isn’t sharing that joy, apparently. According to TMZ, the magazine is “freaking out” over Lindsay’s naked photo leak.
Sources from Playboy tells TMZ that there are fears that the leak might cause a significant blow to sales of the magazine, which was expected to be their biggest sale of the year.
Think about it, Hugh Hefner shelled out one million dollars for this, and from an economic standpoint, as legendary as Lohan’s photos may be, if people aren’t paying, it wasn’t worth the investment. Not to mention that Playboy printed thousands of extra copies, anticipating massive sales.
Lohan is still set to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on December 15, where the photos were originally going to be revealed. It’s supposed to be the only interview she’s doing to promote the upcoming issue.
If you’ll remember, Lindsay’s mom, Dina, called the photos “tastefully done,” and as far as getting paid to show your tatas goes, it actually is pretty tasteful.
"It was an opportunity for her. She's 25 years old now, so it was her ultimate decision,” Dina said. “It will be tastefully done. I’ve seen [the photos] she’s really great in front of the camera.”
Meanwhile, Lohan has been completing her community service duties at the L.A. County morgue. On Friday, she dropped off signed proof at the Santa Monica courthouse’s probation office that she’s completed 12 days of service.
Her rep, Steve Honig, says Lohan has been “diligently fulfilling her community service.”
As previously reported, Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lindsay to do 12 days and attend four 45-minute psychotherapy sessions by her hearing on December 14.
UPDATE: Hugh Hefner released a statement about the leaked photos. He said: "The Lindsay Lohan pictorial has been leaked on the Internet & is causing a sensation ... The Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy is going to be a true Collector's Edition."
