Lindsay Lohan was taken off of her formal probation yesterday, and she celebrated by enjoying a quiet night by herself at home, reading and—ah, who are we kidding? SHE PARTIED!
You knew it was coming--Lindsay Lohan celebrated her freedom by doing what she does best. Though, to be fair, it was a lot more low key partying than we’re used to seeing from her. Lindsay had 45 friends visit her in her penthouse suite of the Chateau Marmont hotel, where she’s been staying. Guests reportedly didn’t leave until the early hours of the morning, around 2am.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Lindsay's guests ate paella, and watched Elizabeth Taylor's 'Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?' Lindsay was in an extremely good mood and grateful to be off of formal probation."
And yes, there was booze at the party. But believe it or not, Lindsay did not indulge.
"The party went until around 2 am,” another guest said. “Alcohol was being served in moderation but Lindsay wasn't seen drinking. It's just rather strange that Lindsay chose to have the party at the hotel, especially after what the judge said to her in court.”
Who invited this square?
Anyway, what the judge said to her in court was: Lindsay, you should probably stop partying.
The guest continued: "Lindsay would have been much smarter to have just had a few people over to her house, but that isn't her style, and she just loves the privacy and security that Chateau Marmont offers her."
Seriously, who let this guy in?
Lindsay’s rep, Steve Honig, said: "Lindsay wanted to say thank you to her family, business associates and friends for all of their support and did so by having a gathering last night."
