Lindsay Lohan on Sam Breakup: It's Not Over

Lindsay Lohan clearly doesn't take no for an answer. While Samantha Ronson has made it crystal clear that their relationship is over (she had the locks changed!), Lindsay insists they're just on a "break."

When photogs caught up with Lindsay and asked about the breakup, she snapped, "You make it seem like it's over -- it's not!"

Lohan continued, "People take breaks ... it's OK ... it's normal ... focus on themselves."

Whether it's a breakup, or a "break," as Lindsay insists, she's still refusing to take responsibility for the cause of the split. And is now pointing fingers at Ronson's family members and friends, which include Nicole Richie.

“There’s a lot of bad blood between Nicole and Lindsay,” an insider told E! News. “[Sam] hanging out with Nicole is basically a slap in the face to Lindsay.”

As for Ronson's friends badmouthing Lohan, she claims that they're "a bunch of disrespectful, unappreciative, jealous people with bad f--king energy."

We've said it before, we'll say it again--what Lindsay needs right now is her family. And she definitely needs to take some time away from the spotlight. Being around the paps, who are constantly asking about the breakup hoping for a reaction, is the last thing she needs. Or she can just rebound with a hot celebrity... that'll work too.
