Lindsay Lohan might go back to jail, because she can’t stop lying!
On Friday, Lindsay was involved in a car accident on Pacific Coast Highway. It was a pretty big deal for like two hours, until we found out Lindsay was okay and then we all collectively forgot about it. Anyway, getting into a car accident isn't a crime, but lying to police is, and Lindsay reportedly did just that.
According to TMZ, Lindsay was driving the car but lied to police and said her assistant was driving the rented Porsche.
If Lindsay did lie to the police, it's probably because her contract with Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” stated that she wasn’t supposed to be driving AT ALL during production to prevent stuff like this happening.
Lying to police could trigger a probation violation in her shoplifting case, which means she could face the possibility of jail, again. But in Lindsay's case, she’ll probably get the standard “jail overcrowding” and get slapped with a chunky ankle bracelet and a Venice beach pad.
This isn’t Lindsay’s first time lying. She’s pretty good at it. Remember when she got in that fight with a woman at The Standard hotel in L.A.? And Lindsay vehemently denied even being at the club? Yeah, well, security footage proved she was there that night.
And then before that, Lindsay was involved in a hit-and-run after leaving a Hollywood nightclub. Lindsay denied it by tweeting, “This is all a complete lie. I’ve been at community service. These allegations are absurd.” Too bad multiple eyewitnesses and alleged security footage prove she did graze a man with her car on the way out of the club.
And lastly, remember all the way back to June of last year. Lindsay was still under house arrest and reportedly failed an alcohol test but the actress claimed she was sober and that she must have failed the sobriety test because the Kombucha tea she drinks has less that .5% alcohol content in it.
Anyway, Lindsay doesn’t seem to be bothered by any of this. She was just photographed arriving to the set of “Liz And Dick” in full Liz Taylor garb. She’s safe, for now. I give her a week before she gets in a hit and run on the set of “Liz & Dick.”
