Lindsay Lohan Jewelry Theft Case: Almost a Quarter of a Million in Fees

Lindsay Lohan's legal bill is a whopping $135 thousand. That, coupled with her $75 thousand bail brings the whole necklace debacle to a grand total of $210,000.

That's a lot of money for a necklace that looks like something you could pick up at a Swap Meet. And she doesn’t even get to keep it.
But don't worry, Daddy's here, of course.

"I am committed to paying Lindsay’s $135,000 legal bill with Shawn Holley," Father Michael Lohan told Radaronline. He also revealed that he was the one who approached Lindsay's lawyer to figure out a plan for house arrest.

"I met with a DA friend of mine and they suggested this plan of action. "The last thing in the world I want is for my daughter to be in jail," Lohan said.

"At the same time, I am extremely concerned that there are some of the wrong people still in Lindsay's life and she knows it."

Lohan has been sentenced to 120 days in jail, but will most likely be able to do time from home.

"I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge's decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation," Lindsay said.

She paid a pretty penny to avoid jail, but let's hope next time she remembers to leave the jewelry at the store.
