Lindsay Lohan Is Not A Felon

Surprise, surprise, according to the courts Lindsay Lohan is not a felon. She was only charged with 7 misdemeanor charges and no felony charges.

Lindsay could have faced up to years in jail but got off REALLY easy. A lot of people are outraged but when we asked our big shot attorney friends they'll all basically say the same thing. "We knew she was going to get off not cause she is a celebrity, but because of the evidence or lack there of."

Believe it or not, they were having trouble even proving that she was in possession of a drug.

As to why the DA didn't file felony charges, the DA says Lohan's cocaine traces "were below the .05 grams required by office policy for felony filing."

I know a lot of you guys are going to be pissed. Let us know what you really think!

this blows!!! bullshit its not about her celeb status. her lawyer is fucking incredible and thats why she got off. if i ever get caught with anything i am definitely gonna hire her lawyer

not that i care for paris hilton, she got what she deserves. but it seems L.Lo did ten times worst than L.Lo and she gets nothing? Where is the justice??

although my opinion doesnt really matter, i must say i think it is very unfair that she put all those peoples lives in danger and she is getting off with only a slap on the wrist. i dont care if she is an addicted junkie. this just means that she is not really gonna learn her lesson because she is gonna think that she will go free on whatever she does. didnt she already tell those guys 'i'm a celeb i wont get in trouble'

she didn't need a great lawyer to get her off...she is a young celebrity and thus she gets away with whatever she wants.

I find it outrageous and disgusting. NO wonder Lindsay keeps doing stuff like this, she gets a slap on the wrist with no consequences to her destructive behavior and actions. Paris did less and got time, but then the judge was doing the job he was supposed to do.La Lohan will be at it again once she's back to LaLa land.She used "rehab" so she wouldn't face time. Too bad, she should go to real rehab, not the celebrity spa kind of junk. She needs to do time, maybe then she'll "get it" and stop her destructive ways.

This is outragous. If it was anyone elsew had coke on their persons, they'd go to jail anyway. It pays to have money, especially when you need to buy off the court system to get of jail!

No "anyone else would NOT have gone to jail" if they had coke--at least not the same amount, Magan. Look, I'm firmly a believer that she got celebrity justice--for her SENTENCE. But the state laws are in black and white that if you have under 0.05 grams of cocaine, it's a misdemeanor. State laws break down crimes into levels based on amounts. She didn't meet the criteria for a felony.
