Lindsay Lohan will be traveling to India in the coming month to tape a documentary about the trafficking of women and children in the country.

In true Lohan fashion, it's not only about helping others, she is hoping that during the trip she is able to better herself as well.

A source said: "Lindsay is trying to better herself and get away from her party girl image. She wants to be taken more seriously.

“She is excited about escaping the drama of Los Angeles and doing something real.”

It's funny how she is the one who wants to escape the drama of LA when she is usually the one who brings drama to LA. The coming month should be a bit more peaceful without Lohan.
