Lindsay Lohan just can’t catch a break. She’s reportedly now a suspect in not one, but TWO different and unrelated cases.
Because DUI’s, fender benders, and one other jewelry store theft case just isn’t enough of a bad reputation, Lindsay Lohan has resorted to more jewelry heisting now too.
Last week Lindsay’s was a maybe-suspect in a supposed jewelry heist from the home of a man named Sam Magid, apparently Lindsay goes to house parties there a lot.
Anyways, Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig denied that she was ever formally questioned by the police in relation to the missing jewelry investigation so we assumed that this would-be fiasco was all water under the bridge.
Now, TMZ is reporting that Lindsay and her assistant Gavin Doyle are both formal suspects in the theft of $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses from Mr. Magid’s home.
I don’t know if every single person who partied at Magid’s house last week is a formal suspect, or if Lindsay is suspect #1 because she has a terrible track record with stealing sh-t, but either way, this is bad news for Lindsay.
LAPD detectives reportedly contacted Lindsay and her assistant Gavin’s lawyers yesterday asking for an interview, but the lawyer rejected the request. Can you do that?
Also, sidebar…Magid (the wealthy guy with the missing watches) recently recanted this story and said nothing was stolen, but the LAPD is still moving forward with the investigation.
This could potentially be really bad for Lindsay as she’s already on probation for her other theft case involving a $2,500 necklace from a Venice beach jewelry store.
Why does Lindsay keep stealing stuff? Is Lindsay running out of money or just pulling a Winona Ryder?
On a related note: Lindsay is also being investigated by a different police department regarding her car crash back in June where she reportedly lied to cops by saying she wasn’t the one driving the car when she ran into the back of a big rig.
Anyways, Lindsay is being investigated for allegedly lying to cops, which is a crime punishable by one year in jail.
This news, plus this jewelry investigation and the fact that LiLo is still on probation is a pretty nasty recipe for failure.
