After grossing (and freaking) everyone out earlier this month with her yellow, rotting teeth, Lindsay Lohan has finally taken care of her teeth.
Lindsay shared a new photo of her pearly whites with a caption that read: "Thanks Dr. Dorfman for the zoom. My gums are so sore though!” Yes, thanks Dr. Dorfman, seriously, thank you. Her teeth were so terrifying if she kept them through the weekend, they could have doubled up as a Halloween costume.
According to Us Weekly, Dr. Dorfman is a high-profile, L.A-based dentist who's worked with such stars as Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson, Anne Hathaway, Usher and Ozzy Osbourne.
Now that her teeth look like normal, its time to quit smoking Lilo. There’s an ashtray full of cigs on the table behind her in the photo. Lindsay’s teeth were so bad, everyone assumed she had fallen off the wagon and was back on drugs and alcohol.
Celebrity dentist Dr. Pankaj Singh, of Arch Dental Associates in NYC told Hollyscoop “this type of damage appears to be from a combination of smoking, drug use and lack of personal care.”
Dr. Singh continued: “Smoking causes yellowing of the teeth, which we definitely see here in this picture. However, at such a young age, smoking wouldn’t cause the decay and browning you see around the gums. Damage like that is something we see in patients who are using or have used drugs.”
Lindsay was just a few months away from being the next Charlie Sheen. Charlie, who is a notorious partier, now has half a mouthful of gold teeth. One of his porn star buddies, Kacey Johnson, claims it’s from heavy drug use.
“All of his teeth have fallen out from partying,” Johnson told E! News. “Most of his teeth were gold," Jordan added. "He wouldn't say why, but we all know it's probably because they've fallen out from the drug use."
Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan also told Hollyscoop he’s sure Lindsay is back on drugs after seeing her teeth. He was so concerned about her well being (before he was sent to jail last week), he told Hollyscoop he thought Lindsay would die from her bad habits.
“[Lindsay’s] not going to be working at the morgue, she’ll be in the morgue.” He continues: “If that happens, there’s one person I blame. Well, two people. The doctor who wrote the prescription and Dina for the way she conducted herself through our divorce.”
Now that her teeth are taken care of, she can concentrate on staying out of jail. On Wednesday, she has a hearing with Judge Sautner, who could sentence her to a year and a half in jail for violating the terms of her probation.
