Lindsay Lohan Enters Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has finally entered a rehab facility! Lindsay has checked into Pickford Lofts sober living facility.

According to Lindsay's father Michael Lohan, Lindsay is at "a sober house," which will help her detox. The facility was founded by Lindsay's new lawyer, LA attorney Robert Shapiro.

It should come as no surprise that Lindsay is seeking help right before her 90-day jail sentence. Her father Michael seems to be very pleased with her decision. He tells Hollyscoop, "As long as the place detoxes her of all prescription meds," he's happy.

He continued, "Nothing will work unless Lindsay listens to me and cleans house. She has got to get Eleanor, Eilat and all the others out of her life and start over. And Dina Lohan, has to stop the "pawn game" and go to counseling with Lindsay and me. She has got to put her motives aside for our daughter, [the one] she professes to love!"

Shapiro founded the home, which is described as a “safe haven so that those in all stages of recovery can develop skills that will aid them in their journey of sobriety,” after his son Brent died of substance abuse.

Michael believes that this entire situation could have been avoided if Lindsay's mother Dina wasn't in denial about her substance abuse problem.

"None of this would have happened, if Lindsay and Dina had [listened to me]. I was telling Dina and Lindsay this privately for years now," Michael tells Hollyscoop.

He continued, "I just pray that they implement everything else I said, like getting clean off ALL meds, asking the court to go to rehab first and then reevaluate Lindsay's incarceration, cleaning house and picking all new
friends and management, and finally that Dina put her motives aside
and she go to counseling with Lindsay and me."

He added, "I think Mr. Shapiro will agree with my suggestions, since unfortunately, he has been down this road as well."

This is Lindsay's fourth trip to rehab. Her first three attempts were back in 2007 following her DUI arrests. She went to Wonderland (February 2007), Promises (July 2007) and Utah's Cirque Lodge Rehab (August 2007).

But Lindsay has a reputation of not taking rehab seriously. Speaking about her first two attempts at rehab she had previously said, “The second two times I went to rehab, to be honest with you, I had to go because it was a court thing. It was an obligation. I had to do it to stay out of getting any jail time. And I took responsibility for that.

She added, “It was like a vacation. I love meeting new people and seeing what they’ve been experiencing. I met some great people.

While Michael seems happy to finally see Lindsay getting help, he won't be too happy with her visitors. Her ex Samantha Ronson and friend Eilat Anschel visited her yesterday. We're just glad Lindsay's finally getting the help she desperately needs.
