Lindsay Lohan Ditches Obama and Endorses Romney

Mitt Romney can rest easy today, having secured one of the most important supporters in his campaign.

In a bold move that seems to abandon her previous Obama Twitter spree, Lindsay Lohan has publically proclaimed that, for now, she is batting for Team Romney.

According to FOX news, the confession took place at the Mr. Pink Ginseng Drink Launch Party in Los Angeles on Thursday.

"I think unemployment is very important for now, so as of now I think [my vote] is Mitt Romney," Lohan said.

That’s right, the same person who decided to get loaded on cocaine and race after her assistant in 2007 (allegedly) thinks it’s a good idea to cast your vote for the GOP come November.

Interestingly enough, Lindsay isn't even registered to vote!

In other words, you may want to take this endorsement with a grain of salt…

LiLo’s sudden Republican charge remains as mysterious as when she was found unconscious in her hotel room earlier this summer.

"It's a long story, but you're going to have to wait for that," she said. Meaning ”I have no idea why that just came out of my mouth. Please give me a moment to come up with a logical explanation.”

Recently, though, LiLo has proven time and time again that she is invested in the 2012 presidential race, channeling her thoughts on Twitter.

Last month, the “Liz & Dick” star tweeted at President Obama, urging him to not only “cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses" but also for “those that are listed on Forbes as 'millionaires.’"

Maybe Romney will actually retweet her.
