Lindsay Lohan Ditches 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' Appearance

What does she think this is, court?

Lindsay Lohan blew off her scheduled taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday. Which is weird, because she’s usually so good about making it to places when she’s supposed to.

“Not a call or an apology from Lindsay,” a show insider said.

According to website Gossip Cop, Lindsay missed her interview after she did NOT board her flight from Hawaii back to Los Angeles.

Girl you know you got court tomorrow, right?

Plus, this is Ellen, quite possibly the nicest person in Hollywood. You can’t do this to Ellen!

The talk show appearance was part of Lindsay’s agreement when she signed her Playboy contract. Meaning, promoting the show was part of her job, and this thing was booked over two months ago.

A rep for Lohan says that, although she missed her interview on Ellen, Lindsay should be back in L.A. for her court hearing on Wednesday.

“Lindsay was delayed in Hawaii due to a travel-related issue. She will be heading back this evening in time to appear in court tomorrow.”

And apparently, Lindsay tried to reschedule the interview, too.

“Lindsay offered to tape ‘Ellen’ tomorrow, but the show was unable to shift things around, and tomorrow is their last day of taping for the season.”

So I’m guessing Ellen called those two little British girls who did the Nicki Minaj video again.

ELLEN: Hey, we got another setback. You guys think you could—

SOPHIA GRACE: Can’t you hear dat boom-ba-doom-boom-boom-ba-doom--

ELLEN: You can stop now.

Okay, not really. Actually, Ellen’s “backup” is Paris Jackson. Which is probably actually going to be a more epic interview than Lindsay. And anyway, Playboy got plenty of coverage when those photos were leaked. So did we really need to hear Lindsay give some obligatory speech about how she’s comfortable with her body and blah blah this is actually empowering for women yadda yadda?

Another source told E! News that Lohan booked an afternoon flight after she missed her morning flight, so she should be back inland by Tuesday night.

Lindsay is due back in court Wednesday at 9:30 am for a probation progress hearing. Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered her to complete 12 days of work at the L.A. County morgue by tomorrow. And for once, it looks like she’s actually on schedule.
