Lindsay Lohan Didn’t Miss Work On \"The Canyons,\" Says Rep

Despite what you read on the Internet, and specifically The Canyons scribe Bret Easton Ellis’ twitter account, Lindsay Lohan did NOT skip out on work yesterday.

By now you’ve probably seen the trailer for The Canyons, which is to be Lindsay Lohan’s follow-up to “Liz & Dick,” however she was reportedly absent from an ADR session for the flick. In non-Hollywood speak, she was supposed to show up to a recording studio and say her lines over again.

However, the writer on the flick, Bret Easton Ellis, whose sole purpose is to whine on Twitter about how he didn’t get hired to write “50 Shades of Grey,” has resorted to whining about his own movie.

He tweeted yesterday, “Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan’s hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f-cking ADR on ‘The Canyons’ today.’”

He’s of course joking about the Patrick Bateman part (Patrick Bateman is the serial killer Christian Bale played in “American Psycho").

Lindsay’s rep tells Hollyscoop exclusively “Lindsay did not miss anything.”

So jokes on you, Bret Easton Ellis, apparently Lindsay “has started promoting ‘Liz & Dick’ and her schedule had to be changed. That’s all,” adds her rep.

Maybe nobody told Bret that LiLo had prior engagements. Also, we should take Bret's tweets with a grain of salt, I mean, he also just wrote, “I want popcorn banned from movie theaters.”
