The Lindsay Lohan comeback train keeps on trucking along. Sources have told Hollyscoop that Lindsay Lohan is about to sign on for a role in Scary Movie 5!
The film is being produced by the Weinstein brothers and Dimension films and a source at the studio told us that “Lindsay did meet with Weinstein, but it is not confirmed.”
Essentially, Lindsay hasn’t signed on the dotted line…yet, but it’s basically a done deal.
“Yes, she is considering it,” says another source close to Lindsay.
In Hollywood, that means, “yes,” but you know how nobody wants to confirm anything in Tinseltown. Not confirming things in Hollywood is the same thing as when an obvious couple calls themselves “just friends.”
No word yet on what the part is, but we’re hoping that she’s not just playing a jokey version of herself like she did on “Glee.” Hopefully this is a real acting role, meaning the characters name ISN'T “Lindsay” and there are zero jokes made about ankle bracelets.
Apparently, Charlie Sheen is also doing the flick, proving that Scary Movie 5 is officially the comeback movie of 2013.
Charlie Sheen was killed off in Scary Movie 4, but we hear that the fifth movie is being considered a complete reboot of the franchise.
Lindsay just wrapped filming on her latest flick The Canyons and before that she made her triumphant return to the small screen in the lifetime movie “Liz & Dick.”
From made for TV movies, to indie flicks, to full fledged Hollywood franchises, Lindsay is actually becoming an actress again.
While you’re at it…can we get a Mean Girls sequel? Please and Thank You!
