The woman can't catch a break.
Because she seems to be a magnet for drama, Lindsay Lohan is now being sued by a paparazzo (or celebrity photojournalist, if you will. You probably won't).
Grigor Balyan claims he was run over by Lohan's car in January 2010, saying he was left badly injured after being hit while Lindsay was leaving a Hollywood club on January 10, 2010.
Dude, you're a celebrity photo journalist (still not accepting that title, are you?), getting injured in the line of duty is just a risk you have to be willing to take. You think Anderson Cooper sued Sarajevo when Serbian missiles were flying over his head?
Lohan wasn't driving the car, but Balyan's lawyer, Neil Steiner, claims she's still at fault because the driver was operating under her instruction. Stupidest thing I've ever heard. I should sue my cheap GPS for telling me to "make a slight left" into the side of a building, then.
The lawyer says they tried to settle with Lindsay's insurance company, but the company made "an insignificant offer" while Balyan seeks to get "reasonable compensation." Which, I'm guessing means he wants to "take her for all she's worth."
Among Lohan's other recent troubles is her ongoing community service as part of her sentence for breaking her probation in relation to her 2007 DUI. She's also facing a problem with the IRS after they claim the actress didn't pay her 2009 income tax.
It all sounds very expensive. Time for another Playboy shoot.
