Lindsay Being Treated Primarily for Cocaine

Lindsay Lohan's primary addiction she’s being treated for is cocaine.

According to RadarOnline.com, she’s currently being treated for cocaine addiction at Betty Ford. A source close to the situation says, "Lindsay's primary problem is cocaine.”

"She went through a thorough assessment, and it was discovered that she has a high dependence for cocaine,” continues the insider.
"It's not surprising that Lindsay returned to cocaine use after her most recent stint in rehab.”

"There is a great desire for the drug, even when someone stops using it. The cravings are very intense the first four to five days after someone stops using the drug, and it then continues along at various levels of intensity for up to two weeks beyond that.

"So at this point, Lindsay is at a critical point of her detoxification and recovery, and she is doing well,” adds the source.

As you may recall, Lindsay once said she “tried” cocaine just to see what it was like. "I was only aware of cocaine because of my dad," Lohan said in an interview with The Sun at the time.

She said, "I was terrified of it. But I tried it because I was stubborn, stupid and wanted to see what it was like."

Obviously we now know that wasn’t the case, and that Lindsay has been partying pretty hard for many years now. We’re happy to hear she’s actually being treated for being addicted to drugs. We’re not quite sure how that slipped by all the doctors at UCLA…
