Lindsay Lohan returned to court on Wednesday, looking pretty confident. And hey, she got that Elizabeth Taylor role, she’s hosting SNL, her Playboy cover was a hit, why shouldn’t she be happy with herself?
“Miss Lohan, you’re in the home stretch,” Judge Stephanie Saunter said, as Lindsay held back a smile.
The judge continued: “The probation officer is pleased with your progress. You seem to be getting your life back on track, and that’s what we’ve all hoped for.”
Who knew posing topless would be considered getting your life “back on track”? Only when you’re a celebrity, people. Only when you’re a celebrity.
“We like to see positive change,” Judge Saunter added.
So here’s the deal. Lindsay is due back in court on March 29, and she has to complete fourteen more days of community service and five therapy sessions.
“You can leave the state for work,” the judge told her, undoubtedly getting ready to Tivo her SNL performance.
So yes, Lindsay can travel to New York City to host Saturday Night Live, but she has to let her probation officer know. She cannot, however, leave the state “for pleasure.”
Saunter said that if she finishes up this home stretch: “The Beverly Hills case will go bye-bye.”
“All you have to do is obey all laws. Stay out of trouble and move on with your life.”
Sounds easy enough, but ya never know. This is the same chick who stole a necklace after being arrested a couple times. Allegedly.
Lindsay recently apologized to fans for her crazy behavior. A fan tweeted her saying she was his childhood crush and Lohan replied:
“omg! really? that's so cool hahaha thank you xoxo - sorry for the ups and downs... only going up up up from here!”
