We may never get the image of Lindsay Lohan breaking down in tears after learning her sentence, but we may not get that opportunity again!
Judge Marsha Revel has sided with Lindsay so to speak, and isn’t allowing cameras to roll on specific parts of tomorrow’s court appearance that will conclude with Lilo heading off to jail.
According to CNN, the judge has issued the following restrictions on the press in the courtroom tomorrow:
• Cameras must stop rolling when the judge announces she is remanded and the bailiff is instructed to take her into custody.
• No one is allowed to shoot Lohan being handcuffed.
• Photos of Lohan must be restricted to when she’s at the counsel table.
This new order could be a result of Lohan’s former lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley complaining that the media in the courtroom during the sentencing was unfair to Lindsay.
“The fact is, the words [on Lohan’s nail] could barely be seen by the naked eye,” Holley said in a statement. “That a courtroom camera, purportedly there to accurately chronicle the proceedings, would use a telephoto lens to zoom in as it did to Ms. Lohan's fingernail is a commentary on the entire issue.”
So unfortunately now we won’t have the image of Lindsay in cuffs, crying as she’s sent off to jail! We can probably all imagine it in our heads, though! Seems pretty nice of the judge, considering that severe sentence she handed to Lindsay!
