Lindsay Lohan may not be getting a whole lot of praise these days for her acting ability, partly because of the fact that we haven’t seen her in anything in what seems like years. (And no, Labor Pains doesn’t count.)
But Hollyscoop caught up with Jamie Lee Curtis at the You Again junket, and she offered her thoughts on the actress. As you may recall, Curtis and Lohan worked together on Freaky Friday back in 2003.
Jamie told us she doesn’t prefer to give advice to other people usually, because “it’s none of my business. People are responsible for their own choices,” she said.
But she also told us Lindsay is a “brilliant talent and I am sure she will enjoy her talents more and more in her life.”
“I send her my love,” Curtis added.
As far as Lindsay making a comeback in the industry, Curtis told us,
“Everyone deserves a second chance and you can look back at your life and realize the mistakes you can make and repair them.”
Such a sweet message! Not the same can be said for her latest director Robert Rodriguez of Machete, which premiere the day Lindsay was released from rehab last week.
According to Us Weekly, Rodriguez disinvited Lohan to the premiere. "He was frantically trying to track down her manager to make sure she didn’t go," says the source.
While a 20th Century Fox rep says it's "not true," the source tells Us, "She wasn’t welcome there."
Lindsay definitely has some roadblocks ahead of her as far as her career is concerned! People would be crazy to just let her back in like nothing happened.
