Hugh Hefner On Lindsay Lohan's Playboy Shoot: 'Classy, Very Classy'

I'm not sure Hugh Hefner knows who Lindsay Lohan is. In a recent interview about Lohan's infamous million dollar Playboy shoot, Hugh Hefner revealed details about what to expect.

Hefner told The Insider's Brooke Anderson: " It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy."

Someone needs to put an end to Lindsay Lohan's Marilyn Monroe channeling. Because Marilyn is probably up in Heaven watching all of it and wondering what the hell.

Anderson also asked Hefner to confirm whether Lohan bares all: "Oh yes," the Hef said. "And classy, very classy."

I'm not even sure what to say about that claim. But remember, this is the same dude who thought Crystal Harris was marrying him for love.

And it's also been confirmed that Lindsay will not only be featured in photographs, but with words as well. Which means there is an interview to accompany her T and A. And V.

"The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful," Lohan's rep says, "and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay."

Lohan's Playboy spread will hit newsstands in late December. So if you don't know what to get someone for Christmas…

Lohan had to retake her first round of shots, amid rumors that Hugh Hefner was not pleased with them. Actually, that was the entire reason her joke of a jail sentence was postponed until this week. According to, Playboy executives were displeased with the first set of photos, but the second time was a charm:

"The pictures Lindsay took last week are much better than the first set," a source told
“The final decision gets made by Hef on which pictures go in the magazine,” the source said. … “There is never a guarantee that everyone will like the photos or that they will be of high enough quality to use for the cover.”

Lindsay Lohan showed up to jail early on Monday morning, and she did a whole four hours of time before she was told to go home. Lohan was back at her Venice home by 2 a.m. According to TMZ, Lohan told friends the experience was "scary" and "cold." She had no contact with other prisoners.
