Lindsay Lohan,
Dina Lohan is sending a completely different message. In a press conference last night to promote her new shoe line, Dina addressed her daughter, and put the blame on the press.
She said to
Access Hollywood, “You know, God gives your kids a gift and, and [they] run with it. Just leave her alone personally, please. Anyone in the press… my message is to just let her live her life. Enjoy her movies, enjoy her fashion and just leave her alone personally. She’s 23 years old and she’s a young woman now so you just have to let it go and leave them alone.”
She continued, saying, “It definitely hurts these kids you know, and it’s really, it’s sad. They need to stop and just appreciate her movies and appreciate The Parent Trap and whatever. She’s done 12 movies at 23 and no one pushed her. She loves her art. Let her create and her personal life is her personal life… That’s how it is.”
And as for the haters on Lindsay’s new job as fashion advisor for Ungaro? Dina says, "The critics can say whatever they want, but Lindsay is a genius. Stop judging the Britney’s and the Lindsay’s. They are very creative girls, and that is a gift from a higher power of God."
Dina seems to think the press is just having a field day making fun of her daughter, but she may want to stop and think for a minute. She thinks people were “judging” Britney?? She was a mess and had a huge breakdown and we all saw it coming!
Thank goodness for Britney’s family for finally stepping in and acknowledging her problem! Dina needs to take off the rose-colored glasses and realize that Lindsay is in seriously bad shape.
