Dina Lohan on Lindsay: She's a Genius

Dina Lohan just can’t accept the fact that her daughter Lindsay Lohan’s career is in the toilet. Rather than acknowledging the fact that Lindsay is in a bit of a dry spell, she’s insists on harping on and on about the ingenuity of her daughter.

This comes right on the heels of the news that Hollyscoop reported this morning of Lindsay being considered for the cast of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! At the Charlotte Russe launch party last week in NYC, Dina talked about how amazing her daughter Lindsay was.

She told Ok!, “She’s a genius. Such a good heart. “Lindsay will direct one day. She loves directing.”

When it comes to Lindsay’s personal life, Dina was also quick to defend her daughter. She said, “You know what, I taught my children to love. And if you fall in love, life is about that. Family, it’s not about work. You want goals, you want it to be, but you still want someone to share that with, so it’s kind of an open- ended question. We’re all living that.”

“We’re all looking for love and someone to be with; someone to share that with. My parents have been married for 50 years, we see that and that is important. It’s work, but you want to separate it, go home and have a family. [Work] is not going to be forever.”

Whatever that means! We like that she defends Lindsay (someone needs to!), but Dina needs to play devil’s advocate every once in a while, so Lindsay can eventually learn right from wrong! Have you ever heard of a parent who agrees with their child’s every move?!
