“Were there this many hurricanes before Twitter? #justsayin,” tweeted Olivia Wilde.
The Tron actress was noting the enduring tendency by the people of Hollywood to share their thoughts on current events, no matter how silly or unnecessary.
And, with “Frankenstorm” now upon the New England coast, today as no exception to the trend.
Getting a lot of attention for her contribution to the social media conversation about Hurricane Sandy is Lindsay Lohan, who simply shrugged off what some are calling “the perfect storm” as a no biggie kind of inconvenience.
“WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..?" Lindsay tweeted. "Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace."
Easy for her to say now that’s she’s retreated back to Beverly Hills following her drama-filled NYC visit. Lindz later changed her tune, renaming the totally rude storm “Hurricane Sassy.”
Meanwhile, while President Obama has already declared a state of emergency for New York and surrounding areas, other celebs are chiming in with their thoughts too.
Here’s what they’re saying…
