Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born on July 02, 1986, in New York City and began modeling and acting in commercials by the age of three. Following a string of small television roles and print ads, Lohan landed her big break as twin sisters in Disney's remake of The Parent Trap (1998). Her career continued to gain momentum with additional Disney roles in the remake of Freaky Friday (2003) opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and the tween comedy Confessions of Teenage Drama Queen (2004).
Lohan breakout role came in 2004, with a starring performance in Tina Fey's comedy Mean Girls for which she earned a Teen's Choice Award and a MTV Movie Award. She then starred in Disney's Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005) before launching her music career with the release of her debut album Speak (2004). The album was certified Platinum and led to her second album A Little More Personal (2005), which was less successful. Lohan then returned to the big screen in Just My Luck (2006) and the dramedy A Prairie Hoe Companion (2006), both of which had mild success.
A year later, Lohan was better known for her partying ways rather than her professional career. On May 26, 2007, she was arrested after crashing her Benz in Beverly Hills, followed by another arrest in July for her involvement in a car chase with her former assistance's mother -- she was in possession of cocaine both times. In result, Lohan was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, one count of reckless driving and mandatory rehab.
After two failed attempts, Lohan successfully completed rehab in 2007, and returned to acting with a guest appearance in the sitcom Ugly Betty (2008), a role in the comedy Labor Pains (2009) and appearance in action thriller Machete (2010).
Most recently, Lohan starred as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick (2012) to extremely dismal reviews, to the point where many were nominating the film for Best Drinking game of the year. Around this time, Lohan was arrested, once gain, for assault after punching psychic Tiffany Ava Mitchell in the face while at a Manhattan nightclub.
Lohan's upcoming films include, InAPPropriate Comedy (2013) alongside Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriquez and Adrien Brody, the thriller The Canyons (2013) and the parody Scary Movie 5 (2013).
