Her reason for bailing? “Lindsay doesn’t feel up to it,” says Lindsay’s new PR team.
That’s it? Yeah, and Lindsay will reportedly do an interview with Jay Leno next week, because apparently she feels “up to” doing that interview.
What does Barbara have to say about this interview snub?
“If they'd said to me, 'You know Barbara, she's not ready for the kind of questions you might ask.' If they had told me that, I would not feel quite as disappointed as I do today. I wish I could have had a more honest explanation," says Barbara.
But here’s where Barbara’s perfectly manicured claws come out (sorta), “I think to go on Jay Leno and be adorable and amusing, there’s still all the problems,” says Walters, “[The 20/20 interview] would have been a wonderful interview. She could have set a lot of things straight. I think [my interview] could have helped her.”
But it’s obvious that Barbara feels miffed, “I have a few tings to say about Lindsay. I like Lindsay Lohan very much. I’ve known her for years. She said whenever she did an interview, she’d do it with me.”
Barbara DID do part 1 of the interview on the set of “Liz & Dick” and reportedly the films’ producers were afraid to even do the interview because they weren’t sure if Lindsay would even be able to complete the film.
When is Lindsay Lohan going to commit to doing something and actual do it? This interview, jail, court, community service, the Matt Lauer interview, “The Canyons” ADR session, “Scary Movie 5” filming…she has bailed on every single one of those things.
Well, I can’t wait for her to back out of the Jay Leno interview, is what I’m saying.
