In who cares/non-Emmy news, British pop singer Lily Allen was left red-faced when a recent shopping spree at Chanel went sour. The singer attempted to buy clothes at the Chanel boutique in London but walked out empty handed when her credit card was declined.
She says, "It should have been a classy moment, me walking into Chanel - but in typical Lily Allen style, I managed to make a pig's ear out of it.
"My credit card was rejected, and then when I tried to call the bank the battery on my phone ran out. I was so mortified I left the shop and returned the next day with a cheque".
One suit at Chanel would max out every credit card I own so I can only imagine how much the total came out to.
