Lily Allen has been talking about retiring from music for months and now we know why--she's ready to be a mom.
Allen recently said she's going to stop recording music and focus her energy on fashion, but apparently fashion isn't the only thing on her mind these days. She and boyfriend Sam Cooper’s are ready to have a baby!
She told fans at Australia’s Big Day Out festival in Brisbane: “I want to have a baby. I’m not saying I’m pregnant now. Shut up, Lily. Shut up, Lily. That's the sort of stuff that gets me into trouble I suppose."
Allen was left devastated after suffering from a miscarriage back in January 2008 when she was dating then boyfriend Ed Simons. She's apparently been trying for a baby for a while too.
She admitted recently: “I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, that’s my goal really. I’m not a careerist, what I really want is to be a mum. I am driven, but that drive goes as far as keeping a roof over my head and having a routine.
“I have been in a relationship for six or seven months now and its going really well, so why not?”
Allen has a tendency to jump from relationship to relationship, which isn't the greatest environment for a child. What do you think? Should she retire and start having kids right away?
