Last week Lily Allen got a lot of heat when she spoke openly about cocaine. In an interview she said that she felt like the issue of cocaine was "sensationalized" and that she knew people who "take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work everyday, no problem."
Naturally, Allen got a lot of heat from anti-drug campaigners, so now her rep has come to the rescue.
A spokesman for the Allen says, "Lily Allen would like to state unequivocally that she does not condone illegal drug use and has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs."
Allen is one smart cookie! She has an album coming out so she's all over the place making controversial comments. Lily we're gonna buy your album because you make amazing music, not because you like or dislike drugs.
