Let's Make A Deal

The concept is the same: audience members will try to win cash and prizes by making wacky deals. Monty Hall, longtime host of the original Let's Make a Deal, is a consultant on the new show. It will replace Guiding Light, which is ending in September after over 50 years on air.
CBS programming chief Nina Tassler told the Television Critics Association that the change represents a "very tough transition" for the network. They looked at three different game show pilots before deciding on Let’s Make A Deal.
Anything is better than a soap! We think this will be a positive change for the network.
