Leonardo DiCaprio did pretty damn well this year. He was just named the highest-grossing actor of the year by Forbes magazine.

He had two huge movies out this year--Shutter Island and Inception, which were two of the 15 highest-earning movies at the global box office. Inception alone made $825 million!

And if you think that’s a lot, his total at the box office this year was $1.1 billion. According to reports, Leo will bank $50 million off Inception alone.

Coming in second place is newcomer Mia Wasikowska—the breakout star of Alice in Wonderland. That film banked $1.03 billion at the box office. Tied for second is a little more obvious—Johnny Depp, and Robert Downey Jr. in third thanks to Iron Man 2.
