GreenDaily.com has named the most eco-friendly celebrities out there. Many stars have opted to go green lately, but there are only a few notable celebs that stand out amongst the rest.
According to a poll conducted by both GreenDaily and
Bebo.com,
Leonardo DiCaprio beats out the competition on the men’s’ side, while
Oprah is on top for the women.
Leo beat out other green celebs like
Bono and Ed Begley Jr. Oprah came out on top above
Angelina Jolie and
Gwyneth Paltrow.
The least environmentally friendly celeb is
Mariah Carey, who is known to fly her personal trainer all the way from the Caribbean to NY just for a work out!
And
John Travolta isn’t much better. He flies his personal plane all around the world, generating an average of 800 tons of carbon emissions. He could take a lesson from Ed Begley!
We have to give him the most credit out of anyone. Who else peddles their bicycle just to toast bread in the morning? We could learn a thing or two from these green celebs!
