Leonardo DiCaprio has nothing but great things to say about his co-star
Kate Winslet in Revolutionary Road.
Kate won the Golden Globe for Best Actress last week, which is sometimes a good indicator of who will win the Oscar. And Leo thinks that’s definitely going to be the case.
The list of nominees haven’t even been announced yet, but Leo’s still sure she’ll be coming out on top.
He says, "I absolutely do - I think that she is well deserved of that. She's been nominated so many times. She's such a talent, and able to convey so much complexity in her performances. It's long overdue."
Kate has been nominated for an Oscar five different times; three for Best Actress and twice for Best Supporting Actress. So it does seem like the perfect time for her to take home the golden statue!
And Kate seemed generally surprised and so grateful when she won, which was so nice to see. Leo also added, "It was an unbelievable achievement. Not only one award, but two in one night is amazing."
