A source told The Sun, "They each have incredible voices and will appeal to both the UK and the US. It's perfect for the next SATC film."
It seems the two women are the perfect fit for the song, seeing that Hudson already appeared as Carrie Bradshaw's assistant Louise in the first film. Plus Leona has become what's known as the "go-to girl" when it comes to recording songs for film soundtracks.

Director James Cameron chose the 25-year-old to sing the "Avatar" theme, "I See You," over more seasoned divas like Christina Aguilera. And Lewis’ single, "Happy" was also a part of the film "Precious."
In related news, Leona and J-Hud will also be working together on the upcoming film "Black Jesus," which is currently in production.
With the voices on these two, we're expecting a mind-blowing ballad to go with the dramatic storyline!

“James is well known for casting strong females in his films and he sees that quality in Leona,” revealed a Hollywood insider.
“She has made quite an impression in Hollywood and James is one of a number of people interested in developing her performance skills for film.”
The only problem is going to be getting Leona to actually agree to acting in a movie! Leona has previously talked about how she’d love to work in the movie industry — but would prefer it be behind the scenes.
“I love movies but I’m more into scriptwriting and the actual story and behind the scenes,” she said. “But I wouldn’t say no if it was the right thing.”
Well, being in a James Cameron movie isn’t something most people turn down!

She said: “The term ‘diva’ has such a negative connotation, but I see myself as a kind of good diva. I’m a next-door diva.”
Leona insists that she doesn't make extravagant demands like some other stars in the industry (paging Mariah), and tries not to live too lavishly so her ego doesn't get the best of her.
Leona added in an interview with Petra magazine: “The biggest things I’ve bought are a house and my two cars. One of the cars is a Mini Cooper. But in Los Angeles I always drive a Hybrid Toyota Prius which is very environmentally friendly.”
This whole "good diva" thing still sounds a little confusing, but as long as she's not demanding 20 white kittens and 100 white doves to accompany her places, she's all good in our book.

She was rushed to the hospital, and her rep assured she was ok, but just a little shaken up. Leona was scheduled to fly to Germany today to continue the tour, but it’s now been canceled.
She wrote on her website, "Thank you so much for your support it is truly overwhelming. Yesterday was a horrible shock and left me extremely hurt and upset.
"I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing. Thank you again for all of the lovely messages."
Leona has a lot going on right now, between her appearance on X Factor coming up, to her first major UK show, which she’ll start rehearsing for next week.
So we don’t blame her for wanting to take a few days to recover from that incident!

According to The Sun, a man in his late 20s to early 30s stood in line to get a copy of Leona’s new book Dreams signed. Then the man attacked her in front of 200 stunned fans!
Sources say Leona’s five bodyguards dove immediately onto the attacker, and she was immediately rushed out the door to the emergency room for treatment.
A friend of the singer says, "Leona was utterly shocked and appalled as it came out of nowhere. The man queued up patiently, then as soon as she signed his book he smashed her in the face. He didn't say anything to her and she is at a loss as to why anyone would do such an evil thing.
"She is devastated as she comes from quite a humble background and loves meeting her fans. She was doing a three-hour signing and planned to sign hundreds of books."
The pal added: "She's been taken to a Harley Street doctor by her record label as she needs to be fixed up as it was quite a punch and she's very dainty. She's not due to appear singing for another couple of weeks, on The X Factor, so hopefully she'll be fine by then."
A spokeswoman for the star said: "Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings."
The poor girl will probably be scarred for life now when it comes to being around fans! One guy had to ruin it for everyone. Police have now arrested a man in connection with the incident.

Leona is currently living in Los Angeles, while he's in London, and their long distance relationship has started to really take a toll on both of them. So much so that Leona may have already ended the relationship.
A source told Britain's Star magazine: "They are still in love, but Leona's lifestyle is making things really hard.
"Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder. Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over."
The couple hasn’t been photographed together since January, which is never a good sign. It's really unfortunate that they couldn't make it work, they've been together since they were 10! That's a lifetime in celebrity years!

She’d only been living in her new multi-million dollar pad a few days, but was given the creeps from a crazed fan. So she’s jetted back to London for a little bit while security is beefed up in LA.
According to the Daily Mirror, Leona hadn’t been feeling comfortable in the house from the get-go, and was constantly complaining to friends about being lonely. But apparently an incident with a fan was the final straw.
A source tells The Mirror, “Leona had just gone to the shops to pick up some bits and pieces and was followed all the way back home by this man.”
“She was completely unsettled by this and was pretty relieved to get back to the house safely. But when she looked out of the window later the man was still there, staring right at her. It freaked Leona out big time. She feared she was being stalked.”
After the incident, Leona had friends over most of the time to feel safer, but finally decided she’d had enough and it was time to beef up security to the tune of $11,000 a month!
The source says, “She’s had new electronic gates put in and CCTV installed which links directly to the local police, station. Hopefully that’ll put her mind at ease slightly.”
One can never be too cautious! We’re glad Leona is taking the necessary steps to stay safe in her own home. Stalkers are out in full force these days, so it’s better to be safe than sorry!

The horse then head butted her, splitting Leona’s lip open, and knocking her down. The incident has reportedly forced her to postpone the recording of her new album while she recovers from the shock of it all.
A source tells The Daily Mirror, “Leona has been riding since she was a child and has never had a fear of horses. So she was really shaken up when the horse turned on her.”
“Something startled the horse and it flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face.”
“She was knocked flying by the force of it. Everyone rushed over to see if she was OK, she was holding her face in agony.”
Besides the initial shock, and a fat lip, Leona is reportedly recovering well, and was even spotted shopping on Melrose the following day.
In other Leona news, she’s just been named as the first artist in the lineup for Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at London’s Emirates Stadium on June 7th. Let’s hope she’s all healed by then!

Then we heard a rumor about Rihanna supposedly giving Chris herpes, which allegedly started the fight. Then there was the broken nose rumors and now the most bizarre of all is that Leona Lewis was responsible for the altercation.
Earlier we reported that the attack may have been the result of infidelity on Chris' part and now Star magazine is reporting that hours before Chris' alleged violent outburst, he was seen flirting with Leona Lewis.
“At one point, Rihanna caught Chris flirting with Leona,” says a source. “They were carrying on and laughing, and Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona’s back. It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off.”
Apparently the couple has been fighting for months and their relationship was already at a breaking point.
On a side note, Leona is engaged to her longtime love Lou Al-Chamaa. The couple has been dating since she was 17. They currently share a flat in Hackney.
At this point everyone is going to analyze every single detail of what went down that night and over-exaggerate all the small things. We're pretty sure Leona isn't going to be too thrilled about having her name tied into this scandal.
UPDATE:
The Mirror is reporting that sources close to Leona, 23, confirmed she and Brown had spoken at the Clive Davis Pre Grammy but said Leona had done nothing to cause the incident which followed.
One source said: “Leona is very happy with her boyfriend Lou and it was totally innocent on her behalf. She wasn’t flirting.”
A spokesman for Leona added, “This is nothing to do with her.”
