A report has just surfaced regarding Leighton Meester's family. According to
Star Magazine, she was born while her mother was serving a federal prison sentence in Texas.
After Leighton was born, her mom was allowed to stay at a halfway house for three months. She was then raised by a relative while her mom did time for being involved in a drug ring. And it wasn't only her mom.
