America’s got a lot of things, but currently one of those things is not a third judge on the NBC show “America’s Got Talent.”
After Sharon Osbourne’s high profile departure, the network is scrambling to fill her spot. Today names are being released as to who could wind up in the chair between Howard Stern and Howie Mandel.
Sources say that while no offers have been made, these women are described as opinionated and female—the two key factors that the media mogul is sniffing for.
For those of you who are not quite as familiar with these names as “Britney Spears,” Shannen Doherty is an original “90210” babe, Carly Simon is a multi-Grammy winner who reigned in the ‘70s and ‘80s, and LeAnn Rimes is the annoying, woe is me voice currently clogging your Twitter feed.
Sharon’s seat became available when she left the talent competition series in protest when the network reportedly fired her son Jack Osbourne from their other junk food show, “Stars Earn Stripes,” after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
If that’s not enough musical chairs for your Monday morning, consider the fact that NBC could be on the verge of completely cleaning house with three news judges. The reason being is that both Stern and Mandel’s contracts are reportedly up for renewal.
NBC spokesperson Sharon Pannozzo has spoken up, claiming that no potential judge list actually exists, but according to unnamed sources on the celebrity gossip site it does. Who do you believe? Tweet us @hollyscoop and let us know!
