LeAnn Rimes Gets Temporary Tattoo Tribute to Eddie Cibrian

Seriously, a temporary tattoo? Why not buy a pack of pop rocks and some Pokémon cards while you’re at it?

For some reason, LeAnn Rimes got a temporary tat on Sunday to honor her vows with new husband Eddie Cibrian. The 28 year-old had her wedding vows drawn on her ribcage at Lollapalooza's Miami Express Yourself Oasis on Sunday. The tattoo read:

“You gave me the courage to be truthful. I promise to give you the comfort to be trustful.”

I don’t 100% know what that means, but I’m pretty sure it totally contradicts how these two met. Because both were married to other people when they fell for each other on the set of Northern Lights.

Rimes and Cibrian walked down the aisle in April, but no word on whether this tat will be a permanent one. She certainly wouldn’t be the first person to get a tacky tribute tattoo.

Kat Von D recently had ex Jesse James’ childhood face tattooed on her ribcage. Not long after, the two split. I feel bad for the next person who has sex with Kat Von D. Not many things would kill the mood more than a ten year-old Jesse James starring at you.

Angeline Jolie’s tribute tattoos of her kids’ birth countries are sweet, but Jolie also has this tattooed on her neck: “Know your rights”. I know she’s trying to spread an important message, but your neck isn’t a car bumper. Why not get “My kid is an honor student” while you’re at it?

Tom Arnold got an unflattering photo of Roseanne Barr on his chest while the two were together. This sounds like it would be an ironic hipster tattoo nowadays, but back then it was the real deal.

Kimberly Stewart got a tribute tattoo of her father, Rod Stewart. Her tat reads: “Daddy’s Girl.” Awe, how nice, right? Well, it’s right above her crotch, so maybe not.

And maybe the most famous tribute tattoo of all time—Johnny Depp’s tribute to his ex, Winona Ryder. Back in the day, Depp had Winona’s name etched on his arm. When they broke up, he famously changed it from “Winona Forever” to “Wino Forever.” Hey, that works, too.

Compared to some of those, Rimes’ new ink doesn’t seem so bad. But is it that temporary? The country singer Tweeted: “Too funny! I can’t get it off. In search of rubbing alcohol I think!”

Hey, that may be a good sign.
