Eddie Cibrian recently revealed that his wife, LeAnn Rimes, was in talks to join the judge's panel on 'X-Factor.' There's been no official word on her recruitment, but we can't wait to find out.
Hollyscoop chatted with Eddie at press day for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race and asked him what the status is on LeAnn's 'X-Factor' job.
“I know that she's met with them, and we'll see what happens,” Eddie told Hollyscoop. “Who knows what they're up to?”
We were hoping you did! Eddie couldn't tell us much, but he did say:
“I think she would be so great…I know that she is somebody that would be phenomenal on that show.”
Eddie is gearing up to get behind the wheel for Toyota's Celebrity Race for charity later this month. He talked to Hollyscoop about why the event is important to him.
“Race for the Kids [is a] charity that helps fights cancer,” Eddie told Hollyscoop. "It does a lot of research to help prevent cancer. It's very dear to me since both of my parents had cancer and fought it. I hope that one day I will live to see a cure.”
So how is LeAnn handling her husband making his rounds on the racetrack?
“She doesn't want me to get hurt, but she supports it,” Eddie told Hollyscoop. “She's singing the National Anthem on the day of the race. I actually encouraged her to do this race next year.”
Eddie will be revving up his engine for charity in Long Beach, California on April 14.
