Leah Remini. biography
Leah Marie Remini was born on June 15, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York, and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting at the mere age of 13.
Leah made her acting debut in the TV series Head of the Class (1988) prior to landing a more substantial role in Who's the Boss (1989) and its spin-off show Living Dolls (1989) alongside Halle Berry.
A string of TV appearances soon followed in shows such as Saved By the Bell (1991), Cheers (1991-1993) and Friends (1995).
Leah's big break came when she assumed the role of Carrie Heffernan in the sitcom The King of Queens (1998-2007). After the show came to an end in 2007, she landed yet another leading role in the TV series In Motherhood (2007-2008).
The actress' most recent project includes the TV series Family Tools (2013).
