The obvious problem with a TV series set in high school is the inevitable four-year expiration/graduation date of the plotline… unless the show strictly focuses on the teachers (but seriously, who cares about them?).

Though some character driven classics have succeeded in following their peeps into college, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, 90210 if you’re feeling retro, Saved By the Bell if you’re feeling…. cheesy—but Glee, by conception, is firmly routed in William McKinley High School.

So fans are left wondering, how are we supposed to care about the club sans its crucial graduating members?
The people have spoken. And it turns out: you have an undying love for Katy Perry, Glee is still a thing, and Neil Patrick Harris does a damn good job pretending he's not gay. That was the gist of the 2012 People's Choice Awards, but there was oh, so much more.

Fans voted online for their favorite artists, entertainers, performers, etc., and then everyone crowded L.A.'s Nokia Theater to see who got what. The show, peppered with skits, Demi Lovato songs and inspirational speeches, was just what it's supposed to be—entertaining. And without further adieu, here are the best and worst moments of the 2012 People's Choice Awards.

What do songs about drug-induced sex and a preteen who rides around on a broom have in common? You people freaking love them.

Katy Perry didn't show up to the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night, probably because she's still mourning her split from Russell Brand, but she ended up owning the night, along with Harry Potter.

"Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards," Perry wrote on her Twitter page Monday. "I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed! #KATYCATS."

When you think ‘Glee’, you don’t usually think ‘horror.’ Well, maybe if you hate musicals.

But a handful of stars from ‘Glee’--including Lea Michele, Jayma Mays, and Dianna Agron--have teamed up to recreate some scenes from iconic Hollywood horror films. And the photos were shot for Elle magazine by none other than Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy.

Denied! You gotta hand it to Lea Michele for trying. Ashton Kutcher is vulnerable from his divorce, he just played her love interest so maybe he’s confused…the girl knows when to go in for the kill. Unfortunately, Ashton still turned her down.

In a Warner Bros. interview for their new flick, New Year’s Eve, Lea asks Ashton:

“What are you going to do for New Year’s?” and then coyly suggests: “Why don’t you come celebrate with my big Italian family and me? They would die.”

So how does Ashton let her down gently?

“I was going to try to crash a UFO into the Mayan temples.”
And then she finished her sentence: “…nine years ago.”

Lea Michele costars with Ashton Kutcher in the holiday flick, New Year’s Eve, and she’s not exactly doing much to dispel rumors that the two have a romantic spark between them.

After they showed up on the red carpet looking really comfortable with each other, rumors swirled that they were into each other. I dunno about Ashton, but it sounds like Lea’s game:

“I gotta say, I kinda felt like he was out of my league,” Michele says of when she found out about her costar.

Aww, he’s not out of your league, Lea. Just get a hot tub and a room at the Hard Rock, and you’re good to go!
Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele showed up to the red carpet premiere of New Year’s Eve looking pretty flirty with each other. Which is surprising, because there wasn’t even a hot tub nearby.

Kutcher and Michele play love interests in the movie, so odds are they were just hamming it up for the cameras, but they sure did a good job. Kutcher held on to Michele’s lower back, whispering in her ear throughout the photo op.

The Glee star was elated when she heard that she would get to kiss Ashton Kutcher in the movie. She told Entertainment Tonight:

“I mean who wouldn’t choose to kiss Ashton?”

What are the odds that your roommate is going to become a future celebrity? Now what are the odds that the both of you will one day become famous? These are the famous men and women who once had to share rent with other famous men and women. Some roomed together before they were famous and others met up in Hollywood and decided to move in together. These are the celebrity roommates.

Lea Michele and Dianna Agron: These Glee starlets lived together in the early days of Glee in downtown Los Angeles. They said living together was super easy because they are both vegans. Even though Lea seems like a diva on the show, there was no drama off screen, "We have these smackdowns at work and come home and are like, 'Wasn't it so funny when we were fighting today? Let's make cookies!"

Lindsay Lohan and Raven Symone: Wait what? I guess these two bonded over their Disney roots and early in the 2000's these two actually lived together, sort of. Raven said in 2008 that LiLo barely even lived at the apartment...
“Glee” star Lea Michele has broken up with her long-term boyfriend. Awww, cue Glee acapella version of “Don’t go breaking my heart” followed by “Keep Holding On” and then “Stronger.”

Lea Michele says her 17-month relationship with Broadway actor Theo Stockman has “run its course.” She says the split was amicable and that the two just realized it was time to move on.

A rep for Lea told E! News, “This is not a dramatic break-up, the relationship just ran its course. They are still friends and will always be friends.”

Everything seemed fine in paradise for the couple, no really, they were vacationing together in Hawaii in July.

This is a twitter feud that I just don't understand. Sarah Hyland from "Modern Family" appeared as a guest host on E!'s "Fashion Police" and joked about "Glee" star Lea Michele's ridiculous red carpet poses.

While the regular hosts of Fashion Police make fun of celebs on a daily basis, poor little Sarah Hyland calls out Lea Michele's totally diva red carpet habits one time and gets sh-t for it.

In a nutshell, Sarah Hyland did a hilarious impression on Fashion Police of how Lea Michele poses on the red carpet.

While posing, she explained each move, "So it's like a slow-motion kinda thing. It's just like, she puts her hands on her hips like this and sticks out her collarbone to make her look skinner and she goes [pouts lips] sticks out her lips."
